As part of the MOS-Cross2 project, on July 6, 2022, a round table was held for the local self-government units of Požega-Slavonia County in Požega, Croatia.
All project partners attended the round table.
The opening speech was given by the director of the Institute of Public Health of Požega-Slavonia County, Mato Matijević, dr.med.vet.univ.mag. theriogenology.
The “MOS-Cross2” project was presented by Ivan Mihić, M.Sc.biol. member of the project team of the leading partner of the Teaching Institute of Public Health of Osijek-Baranja County, Republic of Croatia.
Assistant dr. Tatjana Pustahija, from Institute of Public Health of Vojvodina, Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia, spoke on the topic “Malaria and other dangerous diseases transmitted by mosquitoes”.
Hrvoje Bekina, M.Sc.biol.exp., gave a lecture on “Suppressing mosquitoes with ecological traps”, from Teaching Institute of Public Health of Osijek-Baranja County, Republic of Croatia.
After the lectures, representatives of local self-governments and participants of the round table took part in the discussion on the mentioned topics.
